Totally accidental! LOL Though, I did want to take the heat off LTO Dave, since this is a rant about bad drivers, not any specific individuals here . . . ***cough***cough *** slapshot ***cough***cough*** Just teasing!

How come a metric socket has imperial drive IE 1/2 or 3/8" rachet ?? hmm
Because it takes less time to tell your tool helper (son or daughter) to grab a quarter, half or three quarter than it does to grab a six point three five o mm, or a nine point five two five mm. The 12.7 is easy though
I don't think LTO is going slow, but rather 'enjoying the ride' more? A couple of months ago in a rather hard exercise in futility, I made myself drive at or just slightly below the posted speed limits for an entire week. It was a two sided evalutation really. I wanted to see the difference in my commuter car fuel mileage and to see if I could de-stress more by driving more 'normal' speeds. I usually drive 80 on the interstate, and 5-8 over on 2 lane roads. Always extra cautious in neighborhoods though. It was really hard to do especially on the interstate. Just by slowing down to 68-70 mph, I was damn near a rolling roadblock even in the right lane. That really is pathetic if you think about it. Why in the hell are most of us in such a huge hurry? That said, it was probably as stressful as when driving 80 and dealing with the usual left lane drivers. The bonus though was in the fuel mileage increase. Went from 28 to 33 mpg.
Just wondering - there is a Pro Line 2.2 Road Rage tire that they say will fit 1/10 buggy rears but there is no front tire. There is the much wider Road Rage Truck tire available in a 2.2 as well but I think that wouldn't fit the rear buggy tires...
I have a 1/12 Lancia Stratos body and I'm having a hard time deciding between putting it on a 12e (on road) or a Jerobee ATV chassis ( off road ). It looks equally cool on either, and it's era-correct for both.
Thoughts?

If it fits the way you want on the 12e then put it on there. There's tons of other Stratos cars you can model it after besides the Alitalia car.
The Alitalia car is the most recognized Stratos because it's the most often seen, and therefore it's...
I bought this car off ebay not too long ago for cheap. Came in really good shape considering. Cleaned her up, replaced the rear shock tower, main chassis, rear chassis plate, front bumper, rear motor guard, and put a new set of wheels on her. Threw...

Nice one! I have one too and I think it got overlooked as a pretty decent racer. Pretty solid as the only things I ever busted were the spur gear and a front shock tower. I really wish I had replaced the front tower with the carbon fiber unit,...
I have 3 brushed modified motors and they're all based on the same Epic 5.0 can. Just wondering if there's a name for this generation of motor? Or just Epic 5.0?
Here is an informative post on RCTech.net that I read the first few pages of...prepare for information overload. 28 mostly useless pages of info on soldering, but the first post and couple pages were helpful for me.
I have this Ultima RB Type-R chassis ready to go just wondering if anyone has one. I have 2 one New in the Box and this one I purchased from ebay a long time ago love driving 2wd drive cars.
Does anyone have one of these? If so post some pics. It looks almost like a B3.

Sorry to bump and old thread, but i just now saw the comment about the chassis being too long. I have a fix for it if someone still has these cars. I have released an 3D printable chassis with two versions. First one is stock length and second is...
