Build them, they aren't worth anything now that the 12mm's are released!

I *suspect* that the v2 would work for pretty much anyone that is racing. the 12mm's are 'nice to haves' otherwise, big bore would have been 'all the rage' 15-20 yrs ago.

I suspect someone made that statement about 2.2 tires and wheels around 1988 too

ehh....I dunno. I think tire construction more than the actual bead diameter is what is really effective. could get the same effect in 2.0" with barcodes, soft compounds, foam liners etc.

ANYWAY, sorry for the thread derailment. We'll be able to reflect back on these comments in the distant future when we get more build updates 8)

lookin' good Scr8p!

Wow you have been making progress. I just started a 1.5 style build after finding a chassis in great shape. I am going to try the T nose with some alternate arms. I went a little too old school on the rear tower (widened and lenthened stocker) so I may steal er I mean borrow your rear tower pic and change it up just a tad. 8)

i don't think there's anything really wrong with that tower, other than maybe the round holes. they don't fit with the triangles in the bulkhead. that's why i liked my original design (worlds style) but i couldn't incorporate the rear body mount the way i wanted.
