Not sure I understand your comment about th open belt not being a good rally car option and I am perhaps confused since my yz10 is an open belt car that runs in dirt. Can you educate me here a little?

The pro comp- Per the yokomo USA touring car catalog that came with my car it was $198.00 option kit for the yr-4m2. I would snap a pic but I apparently have not graduated to picture posting status since my attachment button is disabled. Part number is : yr-4m2 pro-conversion
yz10 has a tub and wheels outside the body... your m4 typically doesn't have an undertray, plus the the tires are inside the body and they send tons of stuff in! belt-driven rally cars had tubs and sometime "inner" bodies (think hpi rs4 rally) :)

ha - yr4m2 pro-conversion kit, I think the idea was a conversion to M2 specs from M version :)

Okay that makes sense about the tires on the outside of the body and the tray under the yz10. I ditched the tray on mine since we were running on a very compact track back then with very little loose dirt.

So is there a yokomo that is shaft driven that could be used for rally? That hpi rs4 looks a lot like a yoke to me.

That makes sense about the conversion kit since a lot of the parts have identical descriptions as described in the parts list from the m2.

Any chance you can direct me to a good source for yz10 parts? I found the front belt pully i needed but would like to source a couple other items that i am not finding on eBay.
yoke shaft-driven = bmax, not modern tho

all double-deck, saddle-pack, belt driven touring cars bitd looked like the M2 ;)

yz10 supply source? ebay, mostly... or the BST here ;)
