Gold pan question

Post by Orlinon »

Hi, New here!
I'm watching a gold pan RC10 on evilbay that has been listed as something else, so I'm hoping it might go for a good price. I have always fancied one, but the prices are just insane now.
The pictures show that the chassis has 4 large square holes in it. The seller says these look original, but I have never seen one like this. Anyone know what they are?

Also, the plastic parts have been dyed red. How much does this effect the value?

But if you like it- thats all that matters. This hobby is like hot rods, you put in 100 hours and $1000 to sell it for .$600

Prices on RC10 aren't "insane now" at all. There's plenty of great cars being sold for under $100USD and more than a few going for under $70USD.

I'm in the UK and RC10s are hard to find here.
Someone has told him what it is and the seller has relisted it as an RC10, so I guess there's no harm in sharing the link now.

It was listed as a Tamiya Falcon

I just bought a complete car a few weeks ago for $140 on ebay. Granted, it needed work but what do you expect.

And I've bought several semi-complete cars and trucks for ~$100. They are out there, you just have to keep looking.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.
