Login problem.
I must login every hour or so. Checking "Remember me" and "Log me in automatically" does not work. Only on my work PC, my home PC works fine.
Running Firefox on Windows XP.
Any ideas?

Re: Login problem.
If You don't klick different pages every now and then, same happens to me too with Windows, Linux and mobile phone. I think that it is a security feature.

Re: Login problem.
Maybe.....but even if that were the case I should still be able to re-login without retyping my username and password. As it is now I have to re-type in my user name and password every time.
It seems like my browser wont save my settings. If I check off "Remember me" the next time I log in it is "unchecked".

Re: Login problem.
Sounds like you may have configured your browser to delete your history after every time you close the browser. In Internet Explorer, go into Tools > Internet Options and look in the "Browsing History" section. Make sure you don't have a checkmark in the "Delete browsing history on exit" box. There must be something similar in Firefox, you'll have to look for it. I've seen that option enabled causing exactly the problem you describe, where you need to login each and every time you reconnect to a website with a login.8rad wrote:Maybe.....but even if that were the case I should still be able to re-login without retyping my username and password. Re: Login problem.
Your right Coel. I had "remember passwords" disabled.
I knew it was something simple. Thanks to all for your help.
