Which CVD's for my RC10T?

Post by unclemikey1978 »

I'm building a runner RC10T out of a bunch of used parts I had laying around. I want to get a set of CVD's for it but I want to make sure I buy the right set. I'm using the stealth tranny with regular outdrives, regular rear arm mounts, RPM rear arms and RPM 10T hub carriers with 1/4 x 1/2 x 3/16 bearings. I would like to use GT wheels with this set up as well. Which CVD's will work for me?

So 1/4" wheels would be the wheels for the RC10GT right? Like these:

If I use these wheels, will the 1/4 x 1/2 x 3/16 bearings work with the cvd's or do I need a different bearing?

Sounds like you need the 1/2 (od) x 1/4 (id) like those in the 70232 RPM part. Just use two dimensions to describe the bearings. the 3rd (thickness) is what it is in r/c.

1/2 the way down this page should outline it for you with pictures..
