brushless vs club 10 slipper belt tranny?

Post by PerKr »

just wondering what you guys think. Was approached with a nice offer on a 6.5t brushless + esc + lipos. Car is geared for a 12t brushed motor. Would a 6.5t just kill the transmission? Price asked for the lot is about what I'd have to pay for an esc to just barely manage the 12t, so it makes some sense even if I can't use the motor

10.5 and a bit of boost will be enough
If in doubt go flat out!
