New addition to the stable.... RC10T conversion to buggy
Re: New addition to the stable.... RC10T conversion to buggy
VERY NICE!
i am converting a 10t to a buggy using klien arms as well, but i am wondering how to mount the body?
mine will be a raced weekly, i doubted velcro would work good enough (i've tried that before).
using a body post for the rear on the tranny brace seems best there, but i am not sure where to place the front body post?

The gear cover is a B2 RPM piece. Simply redrilled the bottom hole to fit the older motor plate.

No problem, glad to contribute. As far as the body mount goes, I plan on using velcro. I have been using it on my Worlds car and have been running the snot out of it with zero issues.olderacer wrote:i was thinking the same thing lol! man i am such a dumba$$! i had the b2 gear cover in my hand yesterday and was holding it up to the 2.25 motor plate thinking to myself close but can't use it. The velcro was simply attached to the side of the chassis and inside of the body.
Here are some pics with the paint done:

Re: New addition to the stable.... RC10T conversion to buggy
Frankly, I have to admit that I find it very ODD that people go out of their way to find these cars on ebay, buy them, spend tons of money on parts and then post a build thread, just to immediately post that sucka back on the bay.
I could understand if you stood to make a profit after the "resto", but we all know thats not the case. People sure do have alot of time on their hands. Just my 2 cents...

Re: New addition to the stable.... RC10T conversion to buggy
My mistake, I didn't realize this was a resurrected thread due to his recent post regarding the paint and the constant build threads on here (and other sites) that immediately get posted to ebay.
There is a reason why you cannot spell the word assumption without ass. My bad OP.

Since the latest pictures were just posted a few days ago, I assumed (yup) it was just finished. Thread was kinda fuzzy on that..
My bad?
