It could be a Ultima Pro XL.
If the rear arms are adjustable (toe-in), it´s either a Ultima Pro XL or a Triumph.
The triumph has a belt driven gearbox, topdeck from rear to front and uses 2,2 yellow plate rims.
It sounds interesting, a picture would be nice

Does it look like the one halfway down this page Don? The US market Ultima Pro had a black fiberglass chassis instead of the pictured aluminum one. Those were European and Asian market.

Not a triumph: that car doesn't have the saddle pack cut outs mentioned.
Do, is the main chassis brownish alloy? ifso it's the european market ultima pro.
ifnot it could be the us version: check the rear arms as said above: xl has deep-reaching arms on both tranny and wheel side with ball ends at the wheel side.

Pictures would eliminate most of the guesswork. I feel like Gollum; "What does it have in its nasty pocketses?"

Re: 2 wheel drive kyosho buggy....the name???
ok, simplest method to explain: how wide are the rear arms inner hinges spread? If it's clearly less than the inner hinges on the front arms, than you have an XL.
If the rear hinges are a similar distance apart as the front ones, you got a 'standard' pro.
Even simpler: if you got a full length topdeck from front bulkhead to rear bulkhead it's standard.
If it 's just a short bit from the front bulkhead to the top of the servo saver, and another shortbit to mount your ESC on the rear bulkhead... then it's a pro.
(But the full length top might just be on the european version of the standard pro: with the alloy chassis)
Other hints:
-the shorter arms on the standard pro front: with 3 circles seen from the top.
-the pro has wide black frp battery top plates, the standard pro has black nylon parts
-the decals are different between both : see the image above for the pro-xl
All of this might be irrelevant, lots of people don't keep their car standard so you might have a mutation of turbo 2 or whatever
(by the way kyosho never put carbon or graphite shocktowers for the ultima in any kit: they are black frp. As far as I know they never made any as an option-house hop-up either)

Nice find Don. You sure you want to turn it over? Give her the once over first, then give it a run... you may decide you like the old girl. If not you can still clean it and sell...

good catch: that was really the latest and greatest of that line.
Don't let it go too cheap, just like buying , selling well asks some patience too
