I am with you too on this, they all started to look like those rear engine full size crawlers (if you take the wing away - ta...da...). I wish and maybe I am in the minority that the buggies would stay the way they were - "rear seaters". I have said this before, but this reminds me of when they started to destroy 1/8 On-road, with the crazy 1/8 slot car bodies with a 1/32scale cockpit, and 1/5 scale aerodynamic dams and spoiler. I am all for progress but the Orange is beginning to like like an Apple here.

Had to vent a bit, its over and I feel better, now I need a Beer.

I agree, in most cases I ain't into the cab forward look, I'm hoping its just a fad. If the design is supposed to be like having a front wing, then surely the best option would be to have an actual front wing like the Predator. I seem to remember there being a few people that ran front wings on the Losi XXX, though I haven't seen that for a while.

Maybe Schumacher are supporting the industry by creating the need for an aftermarket body for their car. :) Or maybe one day, years from now, I'll look back on the rear cab bodies of the old days and wonder how we ever raced cars so ugly.

The driver kept hammering into the wall, he couldn´t see anything - so they moved the cab a bit longer upfront.

I've got to say, that is a great looking buggy.....underneath the ugly body. I don't mind some of the cab-forward style bodies but that one is just bad.

Yep, its been around a while. I didn't like the idea back then either.

Even the Manta Ray had a forward cab and that was some time ago. But I honestly had no idea that such a body was available for the YZ-10, nice pic.

Losi did have a high down force wing kit which had a small front wing and a huge rear wing to balance the chassis right.

I used it when i raced the xxx but really wasn't worth it.

Yep I hate forward mounted cabs but my 22T looks good I think.

The most ugly Schumacher body in history but like the chassis alot. :D

I highly doubt there is ANY performance improvement to these fugly bodies, but the fad has arrived. Everyone's playing copy-cat and making their own version of the fugliness. But the fad will eventually pass, just like a bad case of diarrhea or a burrito fart.

At least the Manta Ray doesn't look like someone stepped on the rear half of the body...
