Interestingly I found that vid out yesterday... on another vintage RC forum
very bad taste, but incredibly funny

The video was sad... I would have been more impressed if he had passed the sticks to a qualified pilot who could put the cat through its paces.
Also, to answer RichieRich's question: the orange blades mark the 'front' of the copter... the other two are a different color.
As far as right or wrong... to each his own. I know plenty of people with stuffed pets in their living rooms and that's sort of creepy to me.

Let's just be thankful that he didn't do the same thing with his pig.
He should have just made one eye green and the other red, besides, one would think that the cat's head would have been the front, so the necessity for different colored blades should have been nil.civilguy wrote:Also, to answer RichieRich's question: the orange blades mark the 'front' of the copter... the other two are a different color.

I was assuming he built this from a quadcopter that he had already (so he may not have had a set of four single color blades) and that didn't fill his HobbyKing shopping cart with new project bits the day his cat got hit.Halgar wrote: besides, one would think that the cat's head would have been the front, so the necessity for different colored blades should have been nil.

Well when you put it like that, it makes purrfect sense.civilguy wrote:I was assuming he built this from a quadcopter that he had already (so he may not have had a set of four single color blades) and that didn't fill his HobbyKing shopping cart with new project bits the day his cat got hit.
