Cat XL. Cat XLS & Pro Cat. Whats the Difference????
Just curious on the difference of the Cat XL, XLS & Pro Cat.
I can't tell the difference looking at my Cat XL to Pro Cat as i'm sure they aren't 100% standard.
From memory the Cat XLS has chrome wheels, Sway bars & one Way. Not Sure.
Than the Pro Cat . I know the diff was updated to the Drum but that's all i know.
I'm going to do a replica paint job of Masami's worlds CAT.
Thanks
Mark

Re: Cat XL. Cat XLS & Pro Cat. Whats the Difference????
Not absolutely sure - it's been quite some time ago I touched my ProCat, but difference between CAT XL and XLS is quite obvious
(even if terminology was not that clear at those times)
> CAT XL – long wheelbase, stick pack = 2nd generation C.A.T.
> CAT XLS – long wheelbase, saddle pack chassis (otherwise identical to XL)
> ProCAT – at least different bodyshell and slightly altered inside front wishbone carriers
sorry if any wording isn't clear or correct (I am Austrian)
btw just trying to finish my XL project as I found out this version is missing in my collection

i think the xls had the stick pack chassis also from the xl, but it had wider suspension front sway bar (no rear sway bar) front one way axles and chrome rims....and it was the worlds champion and the most famous of the bunch

Yep, the XLS does have a stick pack chassis, maybe the pro cat went to saddles, hard to remember
