Other than r/c cars but to do with r/c. (as always LOL). Like a new tool or PC for r/c surfing.
For me there are 2 expensive items. A new spray painting set up & a plotter/ printer to custom make my own decals. My wife wants a plotter too so thats a win win set up.

The prices on 3d printers are becoming pretty obtainable. Same with the 3d scanners. So yeah....those are on my wish list!

Hakko 888 soldering iron. In the past I've only used cheap irons and the results were not so good. For years now I've been relying on other people soldering my stuff for me. I'm hoping the hakko will turn me into a soldering pro.

For the price range I've head good luck with the hobbyking rotorstar servos. I've currently got one in a 1/8 truggy running the steering to see if it would crap out and it has yet to die on me, although it could probably use more torque in that...
so i had 4 hobby shops id go to.. many years ago karols hobbies shut down.. f+m hobbies turned into a trains only hobby store..tech toys is now 1/2 the size it was (the other 1/2 is rented to someone else) lucky for me they still carry all rc stuff,...
