Turbo Optima goes to full option ... and becomes Salute!
Hi,
Another of my projects is to add maximum of available Option house for this car.
that's the Turbo Optima as currently:
He already has a few options: chrome wheels, belt kit, rear hoof (which will perhaps not stand), but others will come and add
Regards,
CyberFox.

Re: Turbo Optima goes to full option
Sounds like fun...and expensive, unless you've already sourced all the Option House upgrades already. If this is going to be a runner, be sure to track down a hard final pinion gear (OT-76) and the torque limiter gear (OT-74). The original Optima doesn't have these essential powertrain upgrades.

Re: Turbo Optima goes to full option
I have almost everything I want, I need only to find lateral gold protections and special rod set. Also a radio post screw, I have lost one
It won't be a runner, so I don't need to take care of fragile moving parts

Then why add the belt drive conversion, if it's just gonna sit on a shelf?cyberfox wrote:I have almost everything I want, I need only to find lateral gold protections and special rod set. Also a radio post screw, I have lost one

Re: Turbo Optima goes to full option
rear hoof, I don't know what that means, it comes from google traduction
motor guard is a better traduction, I should not copy paste google without verifying

Plus, the conversion was an Option House part, so how could you leave it out for a full Option House Optima?cyberfox wrote:because belt drive was already on the car, so I leave it

Thats like saying why add any aftermarket part if its just going to sit on a shelf?Coelacanth wrote:Then why add the belt drive conversion, if it's just gonna sit on a shelf?cyberfox wrote:I have almost everything I want, I need only to find lateral gold protections and special rod set. Re: Turbo Optima goes to full option
I finally found the last missing parts to complete the Turbo Optima Gold (special rod set), so it' now finished, at least as I wanted: no motor protection, it's voluntary, I did'nt want to hide such a beautiful piece
