First race in 7 years

[Goatless]

First race in 7 years was successful. I didnt even run a 2wd buggy then, lol. Ran 5th in Heat 1 with a fast lap of 36.21
Shaved some time after a front wheel change in Heat 2 and finished 2nd with a best lap of 33.4. Heat 3 was a disaster, finishing 3rd with a best of 32.9. That race was a cluster for the entire field.
Tagged the back in the Main. Avoided trouble and lead the first 4 mins. The leader(track owner) passed me and we finished the race 1 & 2.
He had a best of 31.45 and I a 31.66. Not bad considering this track is at his house, lol. Our average lap times were high 32's low 33's.
Above all, had a BLAST tonight and got to see alot of folks I haven't seen in years. The Goats still got some woof in him, I'm just gonna keep eating this grass.

Must be good to get back to it. In a few weeks time I'm going to be running my first race in nearly two years! Can't wait to get back into 'racing' mode!
