How to keep rear wing on?
Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone has a good way to keep the rear wing on and in place using the stock mounts?
It's a pain every time you jump or bump something (and I'm just driving it on my street), that you have to adjust it or put it back on.
Pics are also helpful!
Thx

Not sure what model you talking about.
If you talking about the wing wire style is it the buttons or the wire itself.??
If it's the wire give it a little bend on the bottom of the wirewith a pair of pliers. Wing buttons just add a little lock tight to keep them tight.
Hope this helps.

Re: How to keep rear wing on?
Sorry, I meant on the rc10, original one.
I'm good with the wing wire buttons, just needed an idea on how to keep the wire in the aluminum tubes

Re: How to keep rear wing on?
1) replace the body mount with a longer one. (or use anf longer screw with spacers)
2)put a hole in the wing so the body mount sticks through the hole. put the body clip on top of the wing.
3)copy of the rc10 b2 or b3 way of holding the wing on. it NEVER falls off this way!

Re: How to keep rear wing on?
Thx, I did a slight bend in the wire and it seems quite snug. I can even lift the car by the wing so I will see how that goes for now.

Re: How to keep rear wing on?
Another option that a lot of the guys use on their runners is to eliminate the tubes/wires altogether.
Get a set of the B4 wing mounts and mount them to the shock tower.
I space mine back just a little by using some old ballcups, minus the cups, as spacers.
I trim my body at the rear shock tower so that it's flush. No holes, velcro to the sides of the pan.
Hope this inspires a little thought for a runner if that's what you're looking for.

Re: How to keep rear wing on?
Thats right.
Look at my thread. Pic #7 and #9 shows how to mount the B4 wingmount
