CAT SX ... How good are they?

I've seen a Cat SX that I'm really tempted to buy. Owner wants around A$300 - roller, no electronics.
The car has been raced, looks nice condition and has some seriously nice hop-ups, looks very sexy.

$300 seems high for an SX roller. Considering they are up to SX3 now.

$300 is roughly £200 yes? If so that seems a bit pricey to be honest, but that would depend on what hop-ups are fitted i suppose. I'd hope to get an SX3 for that price.

Thanks for the good advice guys. Maybe I was letting all that pretty C.F. and anodised ally get the better of me! (And I know I should spend the dough on my Procat and GV projects anyway).
