I couldn't believe my luck either tbh!

They are not as bright as I thought though, not like the die-cut ones.

Feeling bored and tired tonight so I dug out my XX stuff and had a play. I fancied a change so I open the new set of natural wheels I had and fitted them up together with the neon red (pink) discs.

I also swapped out the studs for imfar pins, and used some tyre tweak to restore a little newness in them :D

I will try to get around to painting the Jammin shell soon, once some more Trinity stickers arrive from lowrydesign.

Jamin,

The polished motor plate that you have - did you remove the black and polishit up yourself, or was this an earlier generation off the shelf item?

I am not aware they did more than one version - do you have a pic?

I might be able to help you out with one like I have pictured.

Yes, I have both types - I still have the plate from my original XX with straight cut slots... this is used and a bit battered, it now resides in the back of my losi gearboxed Mardave Cobra. I brought a NIP polished plate for my NIB build but its the later type with the radiused machining... before I got this one I didn't realise there were the two different types either... think i'd prefer the straight version as i'm trying to build up my car to the spec of my original XX - but i'm not that fussy LOL :D

I brought a second motor plate for my original XX... this had the straight machined slots but was also anodised blue - which at the time was what I thought was the same as what came on the Kinwald (but now know this is a plain non-machined plate) I remember my blue plate came sealed in the Losi packaging & I had the choice of blue or red 8)

Well, this was only a matter of time wasn't it...
NIP Trinity parts

All back together and looking gooooood!

I do have a Trinity front brace in my possession, but the Jammin brace is too rare to not use, plus it matches the silver motor plate at the rear, so I'm happy

I'll take some better pics with a better DoF in the daylight, but these will do for now.

For me, my xx build just took another step up :D
