This car was sold as Associated 1/12th car but it is not. Actually I thought it is a MRP but it seems also not.
Someone has seen this before?

I don't know what car is it, but there is not much where to make that chassis more lighter. Is it possible to install all electronics to that car?

It sure looks like an rc12e layout with some kind of carbon fibre chassis and alu bulkheads, missing top deck though where the electronics should be fitted. i have seen an original chassi that looked like this (fiberglass of course), the E came in some different variations, it also looks that the car has an carbon rear axle?

I also think there is a radioplate missing. Actually just the frontend is RC12E, rear bodyposts like this were used at a lot of cars. All other parts don´t look like Associated. There were no aluminium podplates for the RC12E also the chassis at the back of car looks completely different to Associated. Somehow reminds me of a British car.
I will have a closer look when the car is arriving.

I got confirmation now from a friend who had exactly this car in the past. Indeed it is a British car, it´s a Gemini SL Version 2 from 1980. Some guys maybe will know the Gemini SLX from the Lexancar area http://www.rc-car-museum.de/1_12_Modelle_aus_aller_Welt/Italien_-_SG/SG_Gemini_SLX/sg_gemini_slx.html what was the successor of this SL version.
I think finding the missing radioplate will be very difficult, I think I have to talk to some British guys for finding a spare plate or at least a picture of this.
For those guys who have not heard from Gemini cars before, all of them were designed by Phil Greeno of UK a very good 1/12th and 1/8th driver who was racing for PB and SG.
