Airtronics 94156 servo info?

Post by VintageCat »

Picked up a T2 that had an Airtronics 94156 servo in it. Anyone know roughly how old that is or have any specs for it? Found it mentioned online, but no detailed info. I'd like to know if it's period correct for the T2, or whether it belongs elsewhere (or in the junk box.)

Hi,

The 94156 server is listed as a recommended servo in the T2 manual, so must be period correct. I'll try find the specs for you.

I couldn't find anything on the 94156 but it uses the same gear set as the 94158, might be similar spec to the 94158
94158 spec size=1.54 x .79 x 1.48 weight=2.10 speed= .09 sec/60°torque=130 oz-in bearing =Double
Looks to have been made around mid 90s

cheers

Rob

Believe this replaced the 94151 (Airtronics high speed servo). I had the 151 in my XX-T and I think it was a year or two old at that point; I believe it came out around '93-94. I guess '95-96 on the 156 but that's just a guess.
