Hahaha I don't think those guys would have had to deal with the spiders nest that I just found in the rear swingarm!!!!!!Asso_man! wrote:come on Nip, just call Tuck and go for plastic surgery

Gearbox about to be opened, fingers crossed it's a full conversion not just a spur gear....

Ed, Tak and Aku are indeed one in the same. Tak is an abbreviated form of his first name, and Aku is the first three letters of his last name.
I have sold stuff to, and traded with him on a few occasions, and of course, Time Tunnel is a great source of awesome pictures of old hopped up cars.
Ya know, it is always funny to think about all the old cars, and some of the insane conversions that we have seen or just have heard or read about. Makes you wonder how much of that stuff has just been thrown away, and how much of it is still destined to come on ebay and such......Delta for instance, I have had that search saved in my ebay for years and years, and I can count on a hand or two, how many times anything of consequence has ever come up.
The Delta parts that I have and had, were mostly the result of sheer luck.

Hey ed,
Is this the car you gonna try that belt conversion on?
How many of these do you have by now?
How is it this timetunnel site keeps turning up pictures I never saw before? I thought I had clicked every single link inthere but don't remeber seeing Yokies. Or, Would it be my memory

The belt drive car is currently a Yokomo YZ834B Wonder Dog Fighter, unfortunately due to my house move the majority of my collection has been in storage for a while. This tranny will go on my Hop-up project which will have the best home made bits from all the Dog's I have bought all on that lovely Delta chassis!Mr. ED wrote:Hey ed,

How many do I have? Well there are 3 on here and I have a few more in parts at home (e.g. all of a NIB Hot Trick conversion minus the chassis) and I recently thinned out my collection and sold 4!!!!

Time tunnel rocks my world for the best stuff I have found you want to click the old car run link and then follow through the events to see the best pictures...

As for vintage parts, Delta and searches, I totally agree. I have my searches saved and I am just waiting to get lucky.
Occasionally I find the best items in poorly listed auctions, for example the wheel lot I bought recently with NIB RC10 wheels and a set of Tecnacrafts, or the shock lot I bought before that. I love lots!
