Thats what I was hoping for when I told her about my dilemma.... Do I finish the b3s or pounce in this sale.... Then I made the case that parts would be easier to find on the newer car.... SOLD!!

Just remember this the next time your local Shoe Emporium has a major sale and she is gone for 10 hours...

There is something about these fire sales and hoarding... Takes me back to my grad school Econ class and the supply and demand curve.

I just couldn't help myself and had to get 2.

I might get another next year IF they are still available and funds allow.... Or just wait for a fire sale on Factory Team B4.1's.

Honestly, I'd like to get them all up and running which means electrics for all.... Ever thing seems to have gotten more expensive during my hiatus from rc....

Do these have ti turnbuckles and cvds? I would assume the team car did. Finding it very hard to pass up for sure.

Steel turnbuckles, CVD's and the 2.6 tranny. Always ball diff until the Short Bus 10 came out-

Also, old chassis ( liked to snap behind the kickup ) non threaded shocks, all steel hardware.

Still a great deal, and I may snag one-

The Factory Team has the carbon , ti and blue bits . Tower has some left for $157 using the $15 coupon and free shipping . I am also deciding between the two myself (also upgrading from my B3). Charlie don't surf , is the factory carbon chassis prone to snapping also ?

Snapping? Yes, is the carbon prone? What about the +8mm chassis?

I got an email from AE today, and the order will be processed. No problems shipping north of the border I assume.

They are charging me $25 to ship to Alberta. So a total of $124.99, not to bad I would say.

They added webbing just after the kick up that made it way better- and it took a big hit to do it, but I have seen more than one go during club racing. The new material and webbing on the 8mm chassis has mostly eliminated the problem.
