My Fox Getting ready to run soon.

Post by MrBeno »

Here is my Fox, I have been working on getting it to run, it will and everything is there, original rims and stuff. It has some issues, 1 chasis crack but can easily be repaired with epoxy, I need some new screws. I need a gearbox engine seal cover, a rubber divider for the stearing servo. I cleaned out the gear box and the eveyrthing else the best I could, but I know i can do better. But anyway here it is and I plan on running her again real soon, I jsut got to epoxy the chasis crack. Also I was one of those people who cut the the top chasis frame in have to have easier access to electronics, it does have it's benifits kind of wish I did not do that now.. ANyway Enjoy. I got a box full of parts including old shell and stuff that I have in storage andin there is some of the Falcon Parts missing and my 956 newman shell. I will get the 956 Newman running soon as well. But Enjoy. And I know this is the Tamiya thread and love Tamiya I had to throw that photo in of my otehr cars for support  I Even filmed some on my PXL 2000 camera from the same era when working on it tonight. :P Oh by the way electronics work, just got to fiddle a bit and want to find my old 540 s motor that came with it.

In this photo she was nervous so needed his old school friends by his side, Just thinking I should of thrown in the Falcon and 956 but they have a few screws loose.

thanks for replies all, finaly got my desktop running again and appolagies for large photos. Finaly got my graphic apps back. My desktop blew its PSU and was running an old school computer with out any photo editor.

I plan on taking some footage of the Fox with that PXL and my others :) I am also still struggling to find the rest of my parts to get my Falcon back up. I should find them soon along with the orginal fox shell. :) I hope

Just thinking.....Heck.... For fun and love of the Vintage enjoyment/sport I will post a Youtube video of my Tamiya cars, some others will be in there too "All Filmed with the PXL 2000." I will try as hard as I can to get it done tonight, if not it should be available tommorrow. I used to film my fox and others running back then with the PXL, just need to find them tapes in the storage :)

I will post a link to the thread here if I include to much other stuff. But for now Gona try to keep the video limited to the Fox and the Falcon also will show the Newman 956,
