Trying to figure out which models I have
I bought a big bag full of older buggies from a guy I race with, 2 of which were RC10 gold pans.
1 is a b stamp stealth tranny with the white wide track front arms etc. I'm going to turn into a runner.
The other is the one I'm trying to figure out if its an edinger or not. (sorry for no pictures yet).
I know it has the following
A stamp on the top of the chassis
white idler gears (which one of them is chewed up....grrr)
I haven't taken the shocks apart but they dont have the slots for the spring caps
The chassis brace is nylon (but dyed a weird green color LOL) Is the nylon the older or newer (relatively speaking)?
The front shock tower is definitely thicker than the one on the B stamp car
I'll include pictures later tonight.

Is the chassis anodizing a lighter shade of gold? Also do the tires say Good Year?

Here are some pics. (I figure it's a cadillac but just want to check)
The chassis is lighter than the B stamp but it's hard to tell (the A stamp is on the left). It's noticably lighter than the noseplate as well.

Here's a pic of the shock tower

Hard to say but my car is an Edinger that I've owned since new and the colour looks the same as the car on the left.

Re: Trying to figure out which models I have
It's hard to call frankly, I'm not super worried about it except if I go to sell it. I'm trying to decide which direction to go with it. The one on the right is going to become a runner. I have a JRX2, a XX, A JRX-Pro, a JRX-Pro SE, the B stamp on the right and possibly the A stamp on the left that I might make all runners and "lend" them to my local track to allow people to do vintage races.
The XX would be mine though LOL.

The one on the left is a Cadillac RC10 with 6-gear tranny and the one on the right is a Championship Edition with a Stealth tranny. Have fun!

Thanks for the confirmation.
Just working on the parts to get both of them running.

The spring cups are solid.
The clamps are cut (I'm assuming you're talking about the upper part on the shock, you can see it in the picture)

yeah, that's it. the shock clamp that you make adjustments to. the older clamps weren't perched. holding the spring in place. the more common ones were.sgirouard wrote:The spring cups are solid.

Yeah, the buggy has the ones on the right side of the picture (the right cup and right clamp)
