Re: Novak tribute display!
I sold a new bantam midget on ebay auction format for $41 and a used nes-1a for $90. Somebody stole the midget, hope you are on the forum.

from his items my guess he either is a serious collector or owned a hobby store, or had a amazing score from a local hobby shop

Re: Novak tribute display!
While old Novak gear is seriously cool I simply could not justify spending $250 to own an orange servo sealed in a plastic bag. Then again, my cars aren't on display so no one would ever know I have any of this gear.

Re: Novak tribute display!
I hear you there, Jason. I would like a good condition Novak servo - (NES 2H or NES 1A may be -Bantam midget a little too early perhaps for me) - but $250 for a servo....don't think so....J.M. wrote:While old Novak gear is seriously cool I simply could not justify spending $250 to own an orange servo sealed in a plastic bag. I'm guessing he owned a Hobby Store. He's had top quality nib items on Ebay since I can remember (at top end prices). His stocks must be pretty substantial...mikedealer wrote:from his items my guess he either is a serious collector or owned a hobby store, or had a amazing score from a local hobby shop

Re: Novak tribute display!
he has high prices on stuff, but i believe he is open to offers, maybe 2 years ago i bought something from him.. it was listed at $200, offered him 100+shipping, he accepted no problem. might of been a kyosho motor or something not extraordinarily rare, but rare enough where i never saw one NIP before... anything that is that expensive and has been up for a while, ill make a offer to see if they will accept before dropping expensive cash on something they may never sell... i mean all the prices he has are pretty much just made up out of his head, people need to grasp reality sometimes and realize a new servo isnt worth $250 or a used rc10 isnt worth a thousand dollars, even though you may have spent $1,200 back in the day

WOW - that guy has some crazy stuff and at some crazy prices! BUT, my guess is that he'll get it sold if he hangs in there a while!
