RC10B4.1 Flat head screw degree?

Post by SMOKE-DOG »

I'm looking to replace the flat head screws on the bottom of my B4.1 with phillips head flat heads. Anyone know what degree the flat heads are (82 or 100)?

Stupid question, but do you have to buy special drill bits to countersink for Associated (or any) screws? If so, what's the source? My countersinking sucks.

If you are using a CNC router then the answer is yes ( kinda ) because it drills and then countersinks with the same bit. If you are doing it by hand, then no- all you have to do is drill the correct size hole and countersink it with the correct degree bit ( to get the head to fit flush)
