Spinning your 6 gear for 30 seconds

when i watched a Jammin' Jay video i remember them saying a 6 gear, when built right, can free spin for 30 seconds. i checked out my 6 gear trannys and some spin better than others, i have one in particular that i think can spin for like 5-6 seconds if i changed the spur to a heavier one

. Can any of yours spin this long?

Free spin for 30 seconds, yes, but the question is how do you launch the spin? With a motor or with the fingers? I highly doubt it is achievable with bare fingers...

My does not spin AT ALL which leads me to believe it needs a rebuild. Also, are you supposed to get opposite direction wheel travel all the time? Mine is very intermittent.
