Hydra Drive Score!!!!!
Hydra Drive Score!!!!!
I just scored a Losi Hydra Drive with all the goodies. Anyone have info. on it as to whether I should incorporate it on my RC10? Is is worth the trouble or should I just sell it?

Re: Hydra Drive Score!!!!!
For the 2.65 tranny, you need this

And these for the stealth.

I believe the hydra works good on dry rutted tracks of the old days, as the tracks of todays improved, it was set aside for the more reliable double slipper as it tends to develop problems when temp is high. With the introduction of the brushless systems it sealed it faith as it was not able to handle such power. It was more cosg effective to use the more common double slipper than to improve the technology..there are some threads here that discussed the hydra...
But for a shelfer then is ok
i myself is on a look out for a rpm cover for the 2.65 tranny.

Re: Hydra Drive Score!!!!!
I'm actually running a hydra on my new-to-me T2....using brushless power....It hasn't leaked or been a detriment so far, but I'm still in the reconstruction/testing phase.
This past weekend at a local indoor clay track, it performed quite nicely....my driving, however, was not nearly up to par...
