Brushed Check Point motor guestion
Brushed Check Point motor guestion
I won 3 check point brushed motors on ebay. I see that the have a built in capacitor. Do I need to solder another capacitor between the POS and Neg tabs like we did on the older brushed motors?

Re: Brushed Check Point motor guestion
-If you are going old school brushed motor, nicad or nmh batteries, then you might as well check to see that you have caps between the + and - as well as from from the case totalling 3. This ensures that there will be no noise generated by the motor that will interfere with the receiver. Some later brushed motors have a cap board that does this and some motors came with nothing.

10-4. Thanks man. I tried it out for 1 run on my Novak Fusion which only handles down to a 12t and the one I have is a 10X1 and a 10X2. I should be getting a Novak GTX in the mail tomorrow. I sure hope it gives it alot more punch. Thank again.
