Great find! Estate sales are goldmines sometimes. My friend Barry (Raborn, of Bullet Racing Products and Raborn Racing), found a new in box still plastic wrapped Edinger, and a new still sealed in box Kyosho Optima Mid at an estate sale. He paid $25 for each one! Now they are just sitting in his closet.

wow, nice find! The estate sales where I live suck big time...oh, wait a second, there are none because family members of estate sales hoard everything because people around where I live are greedy and poor. I got to move to Cali

That's a great find! I come upon things around here every once in a while. Last year I grabbed 5 cars for a pittance of craigslist. The key is being in the right place at the right time...and you never know when that's going to be.
That's what makes it fun!

Right? I find that I want a car so badly... until I get a hold of one. Then I'm like , "meh, that's done with" For me it's definitely 75% about the 'thrill of the hunt'RedScampi wrote:The key is being in the right place at the right time...and you never know when that's going to be.That's what makes it fun!
Great find btw! What's an estate sale? is it when the owner of a house dies? Or is it more like a garage sale?

estate sale is your allowed to walk in the house and everything is for sale. Walked in a room and there it was on a shelf, full of dust. Had to keep looking for the box, which I found.

I know what you mean. Like the saying goes, you always want what you don't have.

I could never afford A RC10 when I was a kid. Now I can say I finally got my brand new RC10 and remote new from 1984!
