Estate Sale Find
Here's an intresting find...also came with original manual.
Remember it's either a runner or a shelfer. Everything else is just parts.

No, no battery straps, but I did get the original speed control, the original gear cover and original body and wing with the diamond shape wing buttons.

Re: Estate Sale Find
Yes they did make the top bearing dust cover back in the day. I appreciate your kind words and keep looking cause there are deals out there, you just got to keep looking. "Even a blind hog finds an acorn every now and then"

Re: Estate Sale Find
nice one
For the non native speakers here - what's an estate sale? Like a garage sale that happens in trunks of station wagons or what?
thanks
Paul

Re: Estate Sale Find
estate sales are generally when a person passes away, the family or 'estate' if there is no family will have liquidation sales to help offset any costs the deceased may have left behind, or for any number of other reasons.
usually good for deals and interesting finds, but obviously you need to be at the right place at the right time, and stay on top of advertisements of said sales.

Re: Estate Sale Find
So where did the lower perches come from, here? And the Mauri rear tires on this car, as they are not the actual "goodyear's" that came on the early buggy?
