If a Ninja drove a vintage RC car, he'd use that for sure. :)
Never seen anything Novak that wasn't orange. Pretty cool.

Got this in a package deal that once belonged to Kent clausen.
Team driver back in the 80's, I'm lucky to find this.

Nothing really special there, unless it once belonged to Kent. The original orange case has been died black...

I still have two black ones myself from back in the day, that look just like this. 27mhx as well!

Many people did it back then, by just using black rit dye as the orange case takes the black dye color quite easily with warm to med hot water, without even having to remove the Novak labels.

That's definitely one of my old receivers. I used Rit dye to make it black, then applied a new label. Bob Novak didn't really like it when we changed the color of the cases, he wanted everyone to run orange.

The plastic box that it's in is one that Reedy used for his Team Driver motors for a while.
