You'll also need a stealth tranny brace.

a square section of the trans case is raised so there's clearance for the diff gear. because of that, a square opening in the chassis is required for it to sit in.

There is another option before hacking up your chassis you can just keep getting the new idler gears for the original 6 gear for like $5 on ebay, after a while you will be good at replacing them. I replaced them a lot as a kid, a friend of mine swore his lasted longer by using vaseline in his gear box... Get two sets then everytime you blow a set order another.

I am currently on a limited budget. I looked into that, but decided it would just get too expensive considering how fast the trans stripped out.

Along with the hole, I needed to notch a section in the rear bulkhead to fit the b3 transmission in mine.

You will also need to find a way to add a transmission brace.

Good luck.

Got everything mounted and working. Had it clocked by a baseball radar gun. Average speed was 68mph. May not be the prettiest, but it sure is fast!

Just curious. What battery, rear tires and gearing?

Wow, you are doing 68 mph with a 3500kv motor?? I just installed the stealth in my gold tub, wondering how it will affect the performance. What battery are you running?

My mistake, it went 58. I'm not sure the battery. It was a lipo I borrowed from a friend. I was running 31 on the pinion. Not too sure on the spur.
