Don't worry Mate
Are you gonna make the bulkhead as well ??
(that's the thing that sits in front of the case with the flat plate on where those round thingamabobs go down to the flat thingie between the chassis and the wheel )
I'd like to get it to ya before Sunday if possible. I'll send both cars (the terminator might have a bulkhead like others posted earlier), a couple different stealth gearboxes complete (2.25 and 2.6.1) along with some tools....you'll have free reign to tear into them, just try not to lose any parts. lol. I'll give ya a quick rundown on some simple stuff when we link up. Next week I'll be in the field for a week...lately seems I'm getting off work after 5:30. Friday I have duty and Sat night I have the races. Just let me know what's good for you. If ya need any D50 parts, come on up...or we'll just figure out where to link up. In the future I'd be down for some of your parts when I start my next build...I'll just be happy to help out some people link up.

Is there a way to get a poll put up so that the numbers are easier to get a handle on?
I understand where you are coming from but Honestly it would be better to do an 'order' at a time. I Would do like 10 at a time to start with and then another 10 until the demand dies down. I have seen a trend of threads like this that everyone in the world thinks its a great idea and say they will take 2 or one for sure then not have a response when it comes to actually spending the money. Of course this is an opinion of mine but have seen it happen over and over thru the years and its not aimed at anyone in particular.
I forgot about the delrin you mentioned earlier though. I'd be in for 2 of those myself (see...its already happening ) along with some other stuff if you decide to do it.

Peace and professionlism.....Kabunga signing off!!!
I bought an aluminum transmission from Walt, which is really nice BTW, and wanted to build something a little different around it rather than put it into something factory. I haven't seen one built up yet so here it is. I had a new black stealth...

That looks stellar! That trans case is a work of art too! Very nice build. Can't wait to see it finished!
Here are some pics of an Aluminum Stealth Transmission case that Romulus-10 (of Golden Years of RC Museum fame) is planning on producing. Top quality, gold anodized, light weight with no need for spacers. Details will follow.

I can give you exact grams when it arrives in the mail.
Just a waiting game now. I love parts, and I love buying them and I love using them, I hate waiting for them...
I am setting out to build the highest end RC10 Stealth Transmission available.
This will be entirely aluminum with the case, gears, spur gear all aluminum and ceramic balls and bearings. Vented V2 slipper pads.

The issue with aluminum cases is that the Dhawk is the only one available. Better ones from golden years, Rogue Elements, and Walt’s are not available anymore and the only way to get one is if you get lucky.
Couple other questions guys, i have to replace the chassis and top plate that broke and i know a lot of the parts should not be changed to aluminum bc they dont flex
which ones and why or why not would you recomend aluminum? should i get the...

I just picked up some FT -0.5 degree aluminum hub carriers and after installing them i'm noticing alot of fore and aft play AND toe-in/toe-out play on the hinge pin. The carrier has maybe 1 to 1.5mm of movement on the hinge pin WITH the spacers in...
Does anybody know if machined aluminum suspension parts for the original, b2 or b3 buggies is available anywhere? The front and rear arms are available here but I would like to get the rest of the pieces like the suspension mounts, carriers and...

Thank you Pete and TallPaul. I had forgotten about Inet. I think that there are a few pieces there that will work. Looks like Kranzels also has some machined aluminum. Thanks for the links and if anybody else has additional info or companies please...
Picked this up at my local racetrack last night. It has all sorts of aluminum goodies on it including the wheels. I'm trying to figure out which aluminum parts are store bought manufactured parts and which ones are homemade. Hoping some of you might...
