Yes I am!
I am trying to come up with an old school paint job like the type that Curtis would have done back then, or possibly even copy one of his to keep it looking era correct.
Don't feel bad about your chassis though, I had a friend back when we first started who after seeing that I cut my sides down approx 1/4 of the distance available (for those wondering I actually leave about .80" from the bottom of the chassis actually since this is about where the heatsinks on the ESC's end, and wanted to leave as much of the strength-walls as possible), he proceeded to supposedly "top" me and cut down the sides leaving about 1/8" from the bottom of the chassis, to eliminate even more weight than I had to see if he could beat me.
Needless to say, the very first time he raced it, that weekend, he ran into one of the track barriers and he ended up with a "taco shell" for a chassis as it bent right in half!
After that I don't think he ever took material out of his RC10 chassis ever again.
I felt so bad for him but that is one funny vivid memory to have.
