Tracking down something for a JRX2
Tracking down something for a JRX2
I'm restoring a JRX2 and for the life of me I cannot find an original front shock collar (bottom of shock #87 from manual) for this car. Can anyone help me out?

Re: Tracking down something for a JRX2
are they different from those used on the newer cars, such as P/N A5079, A5023, etc.?
Re: Tracking down something for a JRX2
That I do not know... if someone could confirm this it might make the search a little easier??

So these are the same as used in the original JRX2? Looks like the newer top clamp is thicker??

I can't say if they are the same, but you should be able to use the pictures and visually at least tell if they are close.
The A5023 part is correct for a JrxPro and SE variant; it's entirely possible that the bottom spring cup/collar is the same for your Jrx2.

bottom cups are the same form, but not sure if the plastic color changed. been awhile since I looked.
the spring collars are a new improved version, wider, and stronger. the original ones are very weak, as you probably already know.

I am sure you are a stand up guy, but careful... you need to go through the motions of getting BST access to post wanted threads. Info is fine, but please don't post want thread for parts. Review the following and you'll be fine. Questions, let any of us know. Thanks.

Understood. I'll work on getting access to the BST section...
To re-phrase this and get to the point, my question is: Is the original JRX2 front spring cup the same part as the one linked above that is still manufactured?
