Vega Elite mid-engined conversion for RB5 and Truck
OK, I know it's not vintage but who doesn't like a nice bit of machining? From the same people who make & distribute the Predator 4wd buggy (Team Extreme)

Looks nice, although I wonder why they chose to make the chassis out of aluminium...surely carbon fiber would be better?

I would think the resound is cost, much cheaper to machine aluminum than to make a mould and pull chassis. But it would be nice with a carbon chassis.EvolutionRevolution wrote:Looks nice, although I wonder why they chose to make the chassis out of aluminium...surely carbon fiber would be better?

I saw this live today; body is fugly. One guy had it painted all chrome and it reminded me of one of the drones in the old battlestar galactica series
It did beat the hell out of my own cars: both in 2WD and truck class

Agreed - the bodyshell ruins all the good work done by the CNC machined chassis!!
