RC10 6 gear tranny mount?

Post by atarit3 »

Hello!

I have a few RC10 6 gear trannies, but I wanted to pick up some new tranny housings/ motor mounts., OEM #6607. I see the newer style number is 6604, but I thought the hole pattern was a little different on the 6 gear and 3 gear housings.

Any ideas?

thanks!

I'm pretty sure there the same. I build and restore a lot of cars and I'm sure I have swapped stealth and 6 gear motor plates back and forth.

Not the same mounts. #6604 is for the steath and #6607 is for the six gear. The difference being one of the lower mounting holes. You can mount the six gear plate on the steath, but you will need to drill a 4-40 hole.
If things seem under control, you are just not going fast enough.
