Dream alloy pan stealth box setup.

Post by ThomasH »

Over the years there where many parts made for the original RC10. I was just looking for a bit of race setup advice. If you where building a old school stealth alloy pan what parts would you use? No matter how rare it does not matter. I'm talking things like what camber and caster block. What steering yokes. What drive shafts. What length shocks and towers that sort of thing. Also is there anything you would possibly change to take advantage of modern electronics. Perhaps a different ratio gearbox? Thanks :)

Im thinking of the following parts;

-MIP 2:65 tranny Conversion with RPM hydra 2:65 top shaft with b4 double slipper setup
- RRP rear adjustable caster blocks (Arm Mounts).
-Houge Steering kits
- Andy's F/R A Arms
- Andy's F/R bulkheads
- Stock F/R Shocks (Forgot the length)
- technicraft turnbuckles.
-Litesink motor mounts
-RPM gear cover
-MIP 3/16" CVD

and the lists goes on........

Check out the "What's old is new tech thread" in the Temple's RC10 Tech Forum - it's got a ton of information on what the guys who are building sick, updated vintage cars are doing, down to the parts lists for most of htem. It's been invaluable as I've been planning/gathering parts for mine.
