JRX2 Battery won't fit
Trying to finish up a JRX2 runner and I am having a problem fitting a batter in the space provided. I have a mamba max that I want to use along with a lipo battery and I have hit a snag. Unfortunately the battery won't fit. Am I best off using a battery strap or should I just lather the dang thing up with Vaseline and jam it in there? Just kidding about the Vaseline!

Re: JRX2 Battery won't fit
don't jam it in there dry!!!!
seriously though, the battery space is tight for a normal Nicd pack, so a battery strap or some other custom retainer is probably your best bet.

Re: JRX2 Battery won't fit
Try a JRXpro battery box/strap, my lipos fit just fine. See here:

Re: JRX2 Battery won't fit
try an rc10 white or black nylon one, is your problem the length of the battery?

I have a tenergy 5000. I picked up a puretech battery strap from A Main. Gonna give that a go and see how it works out

Re: JRX2 Battery won't fit
I've always used an RC10 cup held down with good servo tape. Hasn't failed me yet.
Re: JRX2 Battery won't fit
thats a big battery, i have one and it's the only batt i have that doesn't fit the x2, it's too tall to fit in the rear cup.top cat mike wrote:I have a tenergy 5000. I picked up a puretech battery strap from A Main. Gonna give that a go and see how it works out
it barley fits in my 10t and rc10ce.
