Customworks rear wheels on the DS.
Has anyone tried these wheels on their DS?

If so, do you need to use this spacer?

Any real world experience would be appreciated. Thanks.

They are like a B3 offset/pin I think, I have some at home I can measure. I'll try and stick one my DS and see what happens unless someone has a definite answer.

Thanks for the info jwscab.
Also does anyone know the overall length of just the CVD bone (without the axle) for the DS? (MIP #1199).

That's a big negative on the customworks wheel on the DS. I didn't measure it, but the wheel crashed into the shock with at least 1/4" more needed to seat the wheel.

Thanks lpddpd, that pic is helpful. One thing, isn't 450mm (17.7") is rather long for a CVD bone?lpddpd wrote:Looks like 450 mm

Thanks jwscab, that 0mm offset is what had me concerned. (Just like trying to put B4 2.2" wheels on my 1990 team car...too much backspacing). Oh well, the search continues...jwscab wrote:That's a big negative on the customworks wheel on the DS. Re: Customworks rear wheels on the DS.
The CW rims will work on a DS, just need a .200 spacer after the drive pins-

Thanks Reg, I just need to sand off 0.025" from each of the CW spacers and double them up. I am going to give that a try and update when I know something. Thanks for all the help guys.Charlie don't surf wrote:The CW rims will work on a DS, just need a .200 spacer after the drive pins-
