Team Losi motors

Team Losi motors

i have a team losi motown missile motor and a futaba electronic speed controler. the motor runs for a second then blows the fuse on the speed controler. any help would be appreciated thanks

What model is the Futaba? They only have 1 or 2 escs that would handle that motor and I don't believe either of those models have a fuse. I could be wrong though. I'd go to a 17 turn motor and you should be ok.

Calls for 18turn or higher motor. That motor you have is 12-13turn I think. It's drawing more power than that esc can provide(causing the fuse to blow). You might get away with a 17turn, but to be safe I'd go to a 20. Keep an eye out on the net. www.stormerhobbies.com and a whole bunch of other sites will run nice BB mod motors for $12-20 from time to time.
