Stealth Bearing questions
Stealth Bearing questions
I'm just a little lost. I have this old white stealth transmission that came with a used buggy. I wanted to try and use it on a DS but it did not feel right. So I decided to take it apart and rebuild it by just cleaning everything and greasing the parts.

- OK that was the first thing I noticed. Now for the good one. When I started to take the bearings out of the two transmission halves, the half where the drive gear/shaft assembly comes out of had what looks like a small washer. I'm really lost here. Is that done on purpose or is it left overs from a bearing that failed in the past.
with all bearing installed
