Well it is what it is I guess. They body itself has no window masks, body post holes are wrong, lexan is thin in some spots.

They did send me 3 wings (2 marked "free). Too bad they are crappy molds, they have 6+ location holes and none are correct.

I would have been better carving it out of a 2 liter bottle. I swear it was designed on an etch-a-sketch!

Well I used a TBG body for mock up and to test some colors to see how close I could get.

Yes...been contemplating cobrakens repro with the undertray but haven't heard back from him about a substantial order. Don't know if he was having problems with demand or with his lexan guy...dunno, was just guessing. But I know of 2 others here on the board I was talkin to about it that also were interested if that helps.

I would buy at least 3 if it were the proper mold. Don't waste your time on the TBG, the blue tape on the bottom is to try to get it to conform right as it flairs out. Also there are a lot of dimples in the lexan, poor window lines. All around junk but good enough to test colors, etc. so I don't screw up a good one.

I'm interested in a few repro bodies! Probably more than a few once I finally get to run the car. I was gonna try one of those tbg bodies, but received a tip to stay away from them.

So when will they be shipping, mrlexan? :D

The Fuhrer wrote: Mon Oct 12, 2009 4:32 am Hi Guys cool, thread, any ideas on how the AE front wheels were adapted?

With another wade through this thread, those front arms in the pics Kenooze posted up are not production TRX-1 arms. I suspect Scott ran AE arms, blocks, and knuckles with the 3-piece wheel front end.

We can now proceed to bury this thread again.
Hope you're doin' something fun.
