I have to agree with your dad, his TRX-1 was the best 1/10th scale car Traxxas ever made. It would be excellent to see some closer photos of the car now if you have access to it. And his Eagle was awesome as well.

Thanks for posting rdanbom25.

 You have to let those teeth breath son. I am actually a freak on that matter and wont let a setup until it is perfect. When we get older we get crankier and more detail about everything.

I would love to see some photos of both the losi and TRX-1, specially the TRX. That car brings back a lot of memories. I know there are a couple of people in this forum building replicas of that car and they will enjoy this and may even have questions for your dad.

Appreciate you taking the time for this.
Thanks.

This is great news. Everything from what I've seen the car was pretty much a box kit? Amazing he did so well when AE and Losi all had tons of hours into their prototype cars. Pics and details would be a welcome addition to this forum. I know being able to have access to Scott would be priceless for us building replica's (me beign one).

Questions
1. Any modifications or was the car a prototype box kit?
2. Electronics, confirm the ESC, reciever, motor and servo?
3. Why the losi wing mounts over the stock kit?
4. Tires he ran?
5. Where did he get his awsome skills?

Funny, I drive through there sometimes as my parents live in South Dakota!

Also can you ask your Dad why he ran coated shocks in the back but stock blue shock bodies up front?

Here I thought Cabela's was the only thing in Sydney

Also could you please ask your dad what axle setup was he using on the front end?

Was it Losi axles in stock traxxas spindles? or losi spindles too. And was he running that just to use Associated front wheels or was there another reason for not running traxxas front wheels.

Thanks very much for doing this, our little forum gets better and better.

Hi

Yes we need a ton of pictures of the shell, of the chassis, of the front end and especially of the front hubs and carriers.
About the rear end we need to look at the inner arm mount and to the gear box.
Both of this parts seems to be nylon machined.
We also need pictures of the bottom of the chassis and of the front bumper.
Front tyres comes from ProLine or Schumacher ?

Please post as many pictures as possible and if he have some nice memories from this World Champ and personal pictures or video's that's will be funny !

Thanks

This is freakin' awesome! Thanks for taking the time to do this for us :)

Can you please ask your dad if he had a "works every time" method to do his shocks? I am struggling to get a good result out of the one I'm rebuilding now ;)

Thanks!
