CVD, and bearings help

Post by davejr »

well, my B2 requires the un-flanged 3/16x3/8. All of my bearings are flanged. So, for the rear carriers I used my flanged bearings on the outside, and (sigh) bushings on the inside. I can't do both as that causes not near enough clearance for the pin and shims. I would like to use flanged on the inside and un-flanged on the outside. This would help move the CVD dogbones deeper into the output drives. My lhs is overpriced on these, sooo....perhaps I can trade someone a pair of flanged for a pair of un-flanged. I also would like to use shims and and a very thin washer between the outside bearing and the pin. My wheels get kind of wobbly and could use better back support. I think the B4 solved all this with a new part.

Hey thank you! That's more like it. Our lhs wants $6 a pair. Are Avid bearings any good? Or are they that cheap for a reason.

Volume sales; sell tens of thousands of something and you can charge less for them.
