Re: RC10 B1.5
to be honest, i hadn't given a rear body mount much thought. thanks for pointing that out. i'm kinda thinking using one of the rear mounts from a 10t/gt/t2 would work. but, it'll depend where it'll mount to the rear tower. a slight design change to the tower might be on the way.

Re: RC10 B1.5
well, brian and i spent another month going back a forth redesigning the rear tower. i had to come up with a new design layout so that i could incorporate a 10t/t2/gt rear body mount to the tower. i tried to keep the worlds "look", but it just wouldn't fly. so here is what i believe the final design is gonna be. brian's gonna send me a 1:1 printout just to make sure everything is good to go.

Jay, call me sometime tomorrow so I can send off what you need for this car, we have hashed too many things back and fourth for me to remember
Tires though I remember the rears, just not the fronts

Re: RC10 B1.5
I'm watching this eagerly.
I've always thought the T2 chassis to be really strong, and I've always wondered why no-one has done this.

Re: RC10 B1.5
not much progess going on right now. well, there is........ but it doesn't include actual "building".
i stumbled upon a front a-arm, and looking at the pic of it, seemed to be the same length as the rpm worlds arm. nice thing about them, they're injection molded, and look very similar to say a standard rc10 widetrack arm. so then i had the idea to go with a truck noseplate instead of the buggy plate. because of that, i needed to design a new front tower as well. so, brian and i have been working on that for a little while. it's done now, and the CAD files will be on the way to atlas for him to cut out the prototypes shortly. biggest problem...... i found out that the arms are about a 1/4" shorter than the rpm worlds arms. but i still want to use them. so, i'm gonna have to get creative with some knuckles, castor blocks, and axles to make up for the lost trackwidth.
this is the front tower. it's kind of a hybrid between the worlds/10t lower part, and the sides and upper part of a b3 tower. i added an extra row to the top to be able to use the .89 shocks, .71's on the bottom.
other than the towers, i've just been gathering parts. reg hooked me up some tires, and todd and camplin hooked me up with the rims i was looking for.

Re: RC10 B1.5
awesome front tower. that looks similar to the one Ruffy had pictured on his worlds car with all the cool prototype parts. if Atlas cut them out im sure he will get requests for lots more, i know i would probably by 1 or 2.
