I know there is writing in some of the margins of manuals I have picked up the last few years, but the one that sticks out in my mind is a Hotshot manual I received that had "Jen is hot" and general variations on that theme throughout.

On one of my manuals and some of my NIP parts there are phone numbers. I wonder what would happen if I called the number, maybe they have a bunch of new in plastic parts laying around! My favorite line from the rc10 manual is something like... "make yourself a sandwich and lets begin" or something like that.

Yes, the brown ring from the coffee cup. The check marks next to each step that mysteriously stop at the diff page. The small assembly pamphlet from the rare performance option that doesn't seem to actually be on the car...

I like the manuals that used to show you cutting parts from the tree with an x-acto knife. Then the next couple of pages have blood on them. -trooper.

its very amusing isnt it, i remember building my first pan car the lynx 2 elite! there are 2 manuals to this car one is written the other is for pictorial reference around half way through building the writing said something like! ok you have done very well so far and you deserve a break, go grab a cool drink and feel proud, i looked at the photo and there was a pic of a cold drink i really thought that was unreal when i was 18 so straight to the fridge i went

Steve Husting always had some reaffirming messages in the Associated manuals. In the 10T manuals he tells you that you did great!
