The preceding contained opinions, beliefs and thoughts that all may not agree with. No offense was intended at any point. Carry on.

Re: moving to a store front
I'll take one of each and enough replacement parts to build a new one of each.
Ok, where did I put Hoopty's credit card ...
Looking good! When is the grand opening?

Re: moving to a store front
Looks like a heck of a start. I wish we had a good old shop like that. We have a Hobby Town that years ago used to be good but now it seems that it is Traxsucks or nothing. Really weak. My opinion is that if it is not available in kit form forget it.

Re: moving to a store front
Is the shop in Maricopa? I'm in Phoenix and Tucson 2 or 3 times a year. Maybe I can drop by.

Re: moving to a store front
The shop is in Chandler, AZ that is closer to PhX than Maricopa. Stop in any time !!!!
The slot car track is not a buck track but is constructed the same with CNC routed slot and rail groves and contious rails.
The lap counter will be installed next week and hope ot have some racers next weekend.
I prefer kits that you build but I also like the RTR that will get people started into the hobby with out the huge price
that sometimes comes along with building a kit and buyin all the accessories.
Then when they want to start competeing they have experance of the RTR to build on.
Thanks for all nice comments guys!

Re: moving to a store front
I might have been a bit extreme, but you guys get my drift. I agree that RTR can be a good thing for starters. The problem is that they don't learn how to wrench and when someting breaks, OMG. I raced in the late 80's so I was amazed when I got back to it with my son a couple of years ago and saw all the brands with all the RTR's. Traxxas? They were a step up from Walmart after they were done cloning Associated. Enough said as my train of thought is derailing. End point being is that it looks great and hope you have success.clinehobbies wrote:The shop is in Chandler, AZ that is closer to PhX than Maricopa. Stop in any time !!!!
