ORANGE ULTIMA now optima

So here is my latest build orange PC ultima it has ball diff rc10t arms front and rear ultima pro radio plate and towers im trying to source some carbon fiber so i can remake the fron so as to lower the ride height dynamite racing nobles F n R on green outrage rims standard 10t turnbuckles with rpm ends stainless screws replace all the chassis screws and will be sourcing some more blue nuts and bolts to replace any black ones .
tomorrow i will be ordering the body a pro x from brandon and i will probably use a modified lazer steering

Aaah! Cool idea!
We did powder coating in school many years ago. I didn't think of that.
All your other chassis looks awesome too!

them shocks are way too long other wise love the build

You'll need to swap the front arms around to get a descent steering geometry. I did this same conversion when the RC10T came out may years back: with truck wheels and tires, and a beetle body on the top.

oh, forgot to ask: which dogbones and axles do you use? Or do you have CVD's or UJ's?

i used the 10 t bones and reamed out the out drives with the dremmel

so i started my orange optima mid lwb today still a few bits mising top plate and shock towers im just waiting to get that half acre of carbon fiber then will custom some parts for the ultima and optima and all the other cars i have on hold for the CF :? :roll: :lol:
